The Housing Help Centre is a charitable organization assisting people who are homeless, receiving government assistance, the working poor, people who are physically and/or developmentally challenged leaving institutions, facing eviction, living in temporary shelters or any other person who requires our services. Our experienced staff assists people with emergency, temporary or permanent housing, helping resolve landlord and tenant disputes, completing rental agreements, information on emergency shelters and social assistance applications. Staff also liaise with landlords and property managers, offering a free listing service for vacant rooms and apartments as well as educating landlords and tenants regarding the landlord / tenant act.
Our resource centre has listings of available housing units, listings of public, non profit and co-operative housing, an outgoing telephone which allows participants to call landlord to book viewings, applications for social housing as well as laundry and shower facilities for those with landlord or employer interviews (on an emergency basis only).
ALL SERVICES ARE FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL
Our Philosophy
